Yanar Dag is a natural gas fire that blazes continuously on a hillside on the Absheron Peninsula on the Caspian Sea near Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan (a country which itself is known as "the Land of Fire"). Flames jet into the air 3 meters (9.8 ft) from a thin, porous sandstone layer.

Xinaliq village or Khinaluq is the most ancient village in Azerbaijan and it is the highest village in Europe. The citizens of this village claim that they are descendants of Noah. Khinaluq people are also one of tribes of Ancient Caucasus Albanian Country which were existed in III-IV BC. The population of Khinaluq speaks their own language which is Ketch ("Kətiş" in Azerbaijani).
Khinaluq village locates in the middle of the Greater Caucasus mountains that divide Russia and the South Caucasus. While driving to Khunaliq you will be mesmerized by the view of the Caucasus Mountains.
